Nandish Sandhu and Rashami Desai Divorce: The real Reason behind the separation

On September 5, 2025, Nandish Sandhu, the ex-husband of Uttaran actress Rashami Desai, became engaged to Kavita Banerjee. He posted photos of himself and his wife showing off their engagement rings.

But Nandish was married earlier to Rashami prior to his new marriage.

Nandish and Rashami enjoyed a picture-perfect life together once they started dating, but things quickly started to change. At one point, they thought their relationship was not working well. For those who don't know, Rashami and Nandish tied the knot in 2012.

They apparently split up in 2015, although their divorce was finalized in 2016. Nandish and Rashami had each given their own explanations for why their relationship had begun to deteriorate.

During an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Nandish talked about his encounter with Rashami on the Uttaran filming sets. He disclosed that they clicked right away and fell in love. He was wealthy, felt like he was on top of the world, and enjoyed spending time with the one. But things didn't work out since the actor admitted to being naive at the time and making a big deal out of nothing.

In the same interview, it was quoted, "I believe that our joint choice to split ways was a smart one on both of our sides. I believe we rushed into it because our thoughts, perspectives, and temperaments were different. We weren't particularly wise because we were young.

Nandish said how they discovered they were incompatible after being married, which led to compatibility problems. Then, the ex-partners lacked the maturity to accept disagreement. The actor also addressed accusations of being a casanova and physically violent and recalled the times when he was the target of accusations during his separation.

Rashami and Nandish reportedly now have a cordial relationship, suggest various reports.
