Tom Holland has shared an exciting update about "Spider-Man 4." He revealed that he and his co-star Zendaya have read a draft of the script, and they are both thrilled about it. Holland, who plays Peter Parker (Spider-Man), said that after reading the script, he felt a new energy and motivation to work on the film.

During an appearance on The Rich Roll Podcast, Holland expressed his enthusiasm, saying that he and Zendaya enjoyed reading the draft together. They even felt so excited that they started bouncing around in the living room, convinced that this script would be great for fans. Holland mentioned that the draft is very good but still needs some work, and he is confident that the writers are doing an excellent job.

There are also some new developments regarding the film's direction. It was reported last month that Destin Daniel Cretton, who directed "Shang-Chi," is in talks to direct "Spider-Man 4." This would be a change from Jon Watts, who directed the previous three Spider-Man films.

Holland also talked about the challenges of making a Spider-Man movie within the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He explained that each Spider-Man film is just one part of a much bigger story that involves many other characters and films. Because of this, the timing of when to release "Spider-Man 4" is very important. Holland noted that they need to make sure everything fits well into the overall timeline of the MCU, which can be a complex task.
