Filmmaker Aanand L Rai is gradually increasing the excitement for his latest im Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush as Shankar and Kriti Sanon as Mukti. After completing the Delhi schedule, the team headed to Benaras, evoking nostalgic vibes of Raanjhanaa. Now, Rai has hinted at the next chapter of the shoot taking place in Leh.
Aanand shared a breathtaking glimpse from Ladakh on Instagram, playfully teasing fans with the caption, hinting at what’s to come. He wrote, "Ye 'Leh' ... hum toh Leh bhi aa gaye. #tereishkmein #recce #lehladakh #beautifulindia”
Kriti Sanon had also shared a few behind the scene photos from the sets of Tere Ishq Mein on Instagram a few days ago, giving a glimpse of her time while shooting for the romantic-drama.
She shared a lighthearted selfie with director Aanand L Rai in which he was seen eating a dessert. Meanwhile, one of the pictures features a clapperboard, which reads, “Tere Ishk Mein, Scene No. 46, Shot No. 4 and Take No. 1.” She also teased her look from the upcoming film with a selfie from the make-up room.
Tere Ishq will feature Kriti and Dhanush in the upcoming spin-off to the romantic drama Raanjhanaa (2013). However, the makers have not revealed much about the film and its cast apart from the leads.
Though Tere Ishk Mein carries the essence of Raanjhanaa, it isn’t a direct sequel. Yet, for those enchanted by the essence of that world, this new tale promises a love story just as unforgettable, told through a fresh lens.
Directed by Aanand L Rai, it is produced by T-series and Color Yellow Productions. Meanwhile, the background score for the film is composed by A.R. Rahman.
