Blurr, starring Taapsee Pannu, is a Hindi adaptation of the 2010 Spanish film Julia’s Eyes, penned by Oriol Paulo, who also co-wrote the Hindi version alongside Ajay Bahl and Pawan Sony.
Additionally, Dobaaraa draws inspiration from Oriol’s 2018 Spanish film Mirage, while Badla, released in 2019, is the official Hindi remake of his 2016 Spanish thriller The Invisible Guest.
Badla's plot revolves around Naina, a thriving entrepreneur and married woman, who finds herself entangled in a web of accusations after her lover is discovered dead. To unravel the mystery and clear her name, she enlists the help of a renowned lawyer to navigate the case and uncover the truth.
