The next instalment in the Star Wars franchise, The Mandalorian and Grogu's latest trailer has been unveiled, and it is nothing short of a visual treat for the fans.
The official Star Wars X channel shared the trailer on Monday, September 22, Monday along with the caption, "Watch the brand new trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu and experience it only in theatres May 22, 2026."

Directed by Jon Favreau, The Mandalorian and Grogu continue the plot from the popular series The Mandalorian. The story follows a lone bounty hunter operating on the galaxy’s edge, who is sent to capture Grogu but chooses instead to protect him, all while evading the sinister Moff Gideon, who seeks to exploit the creature’s powers.
The 1-minute 34-second teaser gives us a glimpse into the fresh narrative of the upcoming instalment.
The trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu brings back the fan-favourite duo of Pedro Pascal’s masked bounty hunter and the adorable Grogu. The film introduces new faces, with Alien star Sigourney Weaver playing a pilot, The Bear actor Jeremy Allen White stepping in as Jabba the Hutt’s heir, and Jonny Coyne appearing as an imperial overlord.
Set after the fall of the Galactic Empire in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, the story follows the unlikely pair as they stay on the galaxy’s fringes to protect Grogu from those who wish to capture him.
Along the way, they cross paths with legendary characters from the original saga, including Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison).
