Actor Sobhita Dhulipala gave her fans a playful glimpse into her off-screen life as she took to Instagram to share a series of pictures and videos of herself cooking on the sets of her upcoming film. The posts, though light-hearted, carried a cheeky reference to Naga Chaitanya’s earlier comment about her supposed lack of “basic human skills.”

In the clips, Sobhita can be seen engaging in everyday cooking tasks—chopping okra, approving a freshly made sambar or dal, and even using a traditional mortar and pestle to grind spices. One humorous image showed her holding a coconut as if she was about to throw it. She captioned the posts with hashtags like #basichumanskills and #SetLife, directly nodding to Chaitanya’s past remark.

Her playful post didn’t go unnoticed. Chaitanya quickly responded in kind, cheekily commenting, “Waiting to get a taste of these skills.” Fans too jumped into the banter, with some teasingly asking, “Cooking vacha akka?” (Can you cook, sister?), while others praised her chopping and cooking attempts as “dope.”

The inside joke traces back to an interview the couple gave earlier this year to Vogue India. When asked about their cooking abilities, Chaitanya admitted that neither of them were particularly skilled in the kitchen. While Sobhita pointed out that he made her hot chocolate regularly, Chaitanya dismissed it as “not cooking” and added, “It’s basic human skills that you don’t have.” That tongue-in-cheek remark has now become a recurring reference point between them.
