The singer, visibly tearful, took the stage and immediately apologised for the long wait, but the crowd’s reaction was less than favourable.

Many fans booed her, with some shouting "Go Back". A video of the incident has since gone viral, showing Neha trying to calm the audience as she fought back tears.

She said, “Guys, you are really sweet! You have been patient. Itni der se aap log wait kar rahe ho. I hate it, maine life mein kabhi kisi ko wait nahi karwaya hai. Aap itni der se wait kar rahe ho, I’m so sorry! It means a lot to me. I will remember this evening forever. Aaj aap log mere liye itna kimti time nikaal kar aaye ho. I will make sure that I will make you all dance."

Neha had performed in Sydney before heading to Melbourne, sharing glimpses of the event on her Instagram. She expressed her gratitude, writing, “Thank you #Sydney Tonight #Melbourne #NehaKakkarLive.”

Despite the challenges, Neha’s dedication to her fans was clear, even though not all in the audience were receptive to her heartfelt apology.
