Amid the controversy surrounding Ranveer Allahbadia’s inappropriate remark on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent, singer B Praak has opted to cancel his appearance on Allahbadia’s podcast, BeerBiceps.

The Teri Mitti singer took to Instagram and shared a video, announcing his decision and also the reason behind it. B Praak said in the video clip, "I was about to go for a podcast on BeerBiceps and we canceled that because of the kind of pathetic thinking, and the kind of words used on Samay Raina's show. This is not our Indian culture. What kind of things you are sharing about your parents, is this comedy? This is not at all comedy. This cannot be stand-up comedy. Teaching people curse words, I do not understand what generation is this. A Sardarji also comes on the show. Sardarji you know you are a Sikh, do these things look good? What kind of teachings are you giving? He even puts clips on his Instagram, saying - Yes I abuse, what is the problem in that? Well, we do have a problem with that."

Criticizing Ranveer Allahbadia, B Praak expressed disappointment over his actions, questioning how someone who promotes Sanatan Dharma and spirituality while hosting renowned figures could hold such a mindset. He urged people to take a stand, emphasizing that failing to address the issue now could jeopardize the future of the next generation.

"So please, I request Samay Raina and other comedians who are a part of the show, do not do this. Please preserve our Indian culture and motivate people," he said while concluding the video.

For those unfamiliar with the controversy, Ranveer Allahbadia recently made an appearance on Samay Raina’s show, where he posed a highly inappropriate question to a contestant whether they would watch their parents have s*x for the rest of their life or join them once and put a stop to it. The remark quickly gained traction online, drawing severe backlash from netizens.

Amid the growing criticism, Ranveer issued a public apology, acknowledging that his comment was "not appropriate" and "not even funny." Meanwhile, many social media users condemned the show, calling for it to be banned for promoting inappropriate content under the guise of humour.

As per ANI, a complaint has been filed against YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, influencer Apoorva Makhija, comedian Samay Raina, and the organizers of *India’s Got Latent*. Submitted to the Mumbai Commissioner and the Maharashtra Women’s Commission, the complaint alleges the use of abusive language on the show and calls for strict action against those responsible.
