Actor and model Shefali Jariwala, who was known for the song, Kaanta Laga, died on June 27 around midnight. She left a void in the entertainment industry and in the hearts of her loved ones. Several close family members and close friends started arriving at Shefali’s house soon after they got the news of her demise.
Among the close friends was YouTuber Hindustani Bhau, also known as Vikas Fhatak, who had formed a close sibling-like bond with Shefali during their appearance on Bigg Boss Season 13.
Hindustani Bhau was spotted outside Cooper Hospital in Mumbai in the paparazzi videos. He looked devastated after he heard the news of his co-contestant’s death. His eyes were filled with tears as he rushed to the hospital. However, he tearfully told the paps, "Behen thi woh meri (She was my sister)."
For the unversed, Hindustani Bhau was Shefali’s rakhi brother. The duo initially had a tumultuous relationship on the show. They also had been involved in intense arguments. However, they eventually put their differences aside, developed a strong friendship, and even formed a sibling bond.
Shefali even celebrated Rakshabandhan by tying a rakhi to Hindustani Bhau, symbolising their affectionate brother-sister relationship. She took to her Instagram in 2020 and shared a selfie with the YouTuber, writing, “Mera bhai!!! @hindustanibhau #family #love #instalove #brotherandsister #loveyou #myrock #brotherforlife.”
Meanwhile, Shefali Jariwala passed away in Mumbai on Friday, June 27. She was 42. The initial reports suggested that she suffered a sudden heart attack. She was rushed to Mumbai’s Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and three others. However, the doctor declared she was brought dead to the hospital. Meanwhile, Shefali’s exact cause of death is yet to be known.
