"Shah Rukh Khan had promised to take care of my son, we need him now", says veteran actress Vijayta Pandit

Vijayta Pandit, former actress and wife of late music composer Aadesh Shrivastava, recently spoke about a promise made by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. She revealed in an interview that Shah Rukh had promised to take care of their son, Avitesh, after Aadesh's untimely death. Aadesh Shrivastava, a renowned music composer, passed away in 2015 after a prolonged battle with cancer, leaving behind his grieving family, including his son, Avitesh, who has been working hard to make a name for himself in the entertainment industry.

In her emotional interview, Vijayta recalled how her husband, in his last days, made a gesture toward Shah Rukh, asking him to look after their son. "You won’t believe when Aadesh was in the hospital, Shah Rukh Khan used to come and meet him. One day before he died, Aadesh held Shah Rukh's hand, when he could not even talk, and gestured, pointing towards our son that he should look after him," Vijayta shared. This promise meant a lot to the family, and it gave them hope that Avitesh would find the support he needed in his career.

Avitesh has been making efforts to establish himself in the film and music industry. He has already collaborated with international artists like Akon and French Montana, but despite his hard work, he has struggled to find the necessary support in the Bollywood industry. Vijayta expressed her disappointment, noting that Avitesh has not received the guidance or opportunities he was hoping for. "He (Aadesh's son Avitesh) works so hard, he has recorded music with Akon and French Montana. But unfortunately, my son is not getting support or direction in the film industry," she said, emphasizing how important it is for her son to receive the right backing.

The former actress also pointed out that many people in the industry are aware of Aadesh's absence and the impact it has had on their son. "People from the industry know that today Aadesh is not there. They should help my son," she added, urging the film fraternity to step forward and offer support. Vijayta further elaborated on how much Shah Rukh’s promise meant to Aadesh in his final days and how it has become a source of strength for their family.

However, Vijayta admitted that she has been unable to contact Shah Rukh Khan despite his promise. She shared her frustration with the situation, explaining that the phone number Shah Rukh had given her son is no longer working. "Today, I am just not able to contact Shah Rukh; the number that was given to my son is not working," she revealed. Vijayta’s plea was heartfelt as she said, "I just want to remind Shah Rukh that he was a good friend of Aadesh, and this is the time we need you. I need you for my son because he is my and our family's future. I am not earning, I am not doing anything."

Vijayta’s appeal to Shah Rukh Khan is a poignant reminder of the promise made during her husband’s final moments. As the family continues to navigate the challenges of life without Aadesh, they hold onto the hope that Shah Rukh will fulfill his promise and provide Avitesh with the guidance and support he needs to succeed in the industry.
