NBC’s Saturday Night Live is rolling into its 51st season with a star-packed lineup. The show has announced its first three hosts for October, and it’s a mix of music, comedy, and pop culture favorites.
Bad Bunny Returns to HostThe season opens on October 4 with Bad Bunny stepping back into Studio 8H for his second time as host. The Puerto Rican superstar, who’s also fresh off announcing his highly anticipated world tour, will be paired with Doja Cat making her SNL musical guest debut. She’ll be performing songs off her fifth album, Vie, dropping September 26.
Bad Bunny, a three-time Grammy winner, is also celebrating the success of his latest record, DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, which critics have called one of his boldest projects yet. Expect fans to tune in not just for the sketches but also for the buzz surrounding his tour kickoff.
Amy Poehler Back on Familiar GroundOne week later, on October 11, comedy favorite Amy Poehler returns to the stage where she made her name. Poehler, who now co-hosts the podcast Good Hang with Amy Poehler, will lead the show on a date that carries extra history—SNL’s original premiere date back in 1975.
She’ll be joined by Role Model, who is riding high on his first Billboard No. 1 with “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out.” It’ll be his debut performance on the show.
Sabrina Carpenter to Do Double DutyClosing out the October stretch, October 18 belongs to Sabrina Carpenter. The pop star will both host and perform, making it her first turn as host and second time as musical guest. Carpenter’s album Man’s Best Friend just debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and her appearance is expected to draw a massive young audience.

SNL, already the most Emmy-winning show in television history with 113 awards, recently added another 12 trophies during its 50th anniversary season. That included SNL50: The Anniversary Special taking home Outstanding Variety Special (Live).
New episodes will air live on NBC (11:30 p.m. ET / 8:30 p.m. PT) and stream on Peacock. Lorne Michaels continues as creator and executive producer, ensuring the sketches keep landing in living rooms for another milestone season.
