Aneet Padda was born in October 2002 in Amritsar to a middle-class working family and grew up far from the glitz and glamour of Bollywood.

As a teenager, Aneet started modelling for advertisements, slowly gaining experience in front of the camera. She juggled her modelling career with her studies.

Aneet finally received an opportunity in the films and starred as an extra in the 2022 Kajol-starrer Salaam Venky. Her brief appearance solidified her desire to pursue acting full-time.

Her major breakthrough came in 2023 with Big Girls Don’t Cry on Amazon Prime Video. She shared the screen with stalwarts like Pooja Bhatt, Raima Sen, and Zoya Hussain.

Aneet fondly refers to the show’s directors, Nitya Mehra and Karan Kapadia, as her “Bombay parents” for guiding her in the industry and shaping her performance during the show.

Not just an actor, Aneet is also a passionate singer. In 2024, she recorded and released her first song titled Masoom, adding another creative feather to her cap.
