According to her account, the intruder forced his way into the house, aggressively demanding Rs 1 crore before attacking both her and Saif Ali Khan.
The nurse described the frightening ordeal in which the robber's actions escalated quickly, leaving both her and the actor severely shaken. The police are investigating the incident and gathering all relevant details to bring the attacker to justice.
An armed intruder forcibly entered Saif Ali Khan's Bandra residence early Thursday morning, injuring the actor, his staff, and his son's nanny during an attempted robbery that reportedly went awry.
The intruder's actions led to chaos, with several people sustaining injuries before the assailant fled the scene. Police have initiated an investigation into the matter, piecing together details of the violent episode.
As per the First Information Report (FIR) lodged at the Bandra police station, the attack occurred around 2 a.m. while Saif Ali Khan, his family, and staff were still asleep in their residence. The intruder took advantage of the quiet night to break in and attempt the robbery, which quickly escalated into a violent confrontation.
Eliyama Philip, a 56-year-old nurse working at Khan's home, shared a harrowing account of the terrifying ordeal.
The intruder, a man in his late 30s with a slim physique and dark complexion, made his way into the bedroom where Saif Ali Khan’s 4-year-old son, Jeh, was resting.
The assailant, wielding a stick and a sharp blade, first demanded Rs 1 crore from Philip. When she refused, he attacked her, inflicting injuries to her wrists and hands.
The noise alerted the nanny, Junu, who raised a loud cry for help, prompting Saif Ali Khan to quickly rush to the scene.
In a brave attempt to protect his family, Saif Ali Khan confronted the intruder but was injured in the process. He suffered cuts on his neck, shoulder, back, and wrist. Geeta, another staff member, also sustained injuries while trying to help.
The intruder fled the scene before more staff members arrived.
