A rare throwback video featuring Ram Charan from his acting institute days has resurfaced online, giving fans a glimpse of the star long before his debut in Chirutha (2007). The acting school shared the clip, which shows Ram Charan looking nervous as he faces the camera for the first time. He is with actress Shriya Saran, who was already a well-known name in the South Indian film industry at the time.
Ram Charan and Shriya are seen acting in a romantic scene in Hindi while sitting at a table in the video. While Ram looks adorably awkward as he tries to say his lines, Shriya looks calm and sure of herself. Fans were thrilled when the acting school posted two versions of the same scene on Instagram. They couldn't help but be amazed at how far the actor has come.
Kishore Namit Kapoor, the actors' acting coach, remembered the experience fondly. "We filmed a scene with Ram Charan and Shriya Saran. It was his first time in front of the camera. He said, "He was feeling very awkward, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise." "Shriya was already a huge star by then, but she was still working on getting better at her job. As her coach, I told her nice things to help her get better.
Fans were surprised when the video came back, and many said Ram looked young and unpolished back then. One person joked in Telugu, "Adenti ala unnadu?" ("Why does he look like that?") and another defended him by saying, "Let's see how you looked in school before judging!" People said nice things about both actors, calling Ram "grace god" and Shriya "ageless and elegant."
It's interesting that Ram Charan and Shriya Saran have never worked together on a full-length movie. Their only appearance on screen is in SS Rajamouli's 2022 hit RRR, where Shriya played Ram's mother in a flashback scene.

Ram Charan's last movie was Game Changer, which was directed by Shankar and also starred Kiara Advani and SJ Suryah. He is currently filming Peddi with Janhvi Kapoor and Shiva Rajkumar. The film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Shriya was recently in the movie Mirai with Teja Sajja and Manchu Manoj, which Karthik Gattamneni directed.
This nostalgic video not only shows how humble Ram Charan was when he first started out, but it also reminds fans that even the biggest stars were shy in front of the camera when they first started out.
