The Supreme Court reprimanded YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia for using vulgar language during a hearing related to merging multiple FIRs in the India’s Got Latent controversy.

Before granting relief, the Supreme Court questioned Ranveer Allahbadia’s counsel, asking, “Do you support his language?”

The SC further asked Ranveer’s counsel; ‘ How do you behave yourself?’

‘There is something dirty in this person’s mind that has been spread through this program…The words you have chosen, parents will be ashamed, sisters will be ashamed. Entire society will feel ashamed,’ SC questioned him.

SC also asked, ‘What is the parameter of obscenity?’

Justice Kant further said,”He is insulting parents also! There is something dirty in this person’s mind that has been spread through this program. Why the Courts should favor him?”

“Somebody thinks that because I have become so and so popular, I can speak any kind of words and take entire society for granted…you tell us anyone in the world who would like such words,” Justice Surya Kant went on to ask the counsel.
