Rajeev Sen warns of legal action against ex-wife Charu Asopa for defaming him and his family: 'Now I won't stay quiet'

In his latest video, Rajeev mentioned that he is considering taking legal action against Charu for defaming him and portraying him and his family in a negative light.

Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen and his ex-wife, actor Charu Asopa have been grabbing the headlines for quite some time now after they publicly pointed fingers at each other talked about their marital problems after their divorce in 2023. After Rajeev's recent claim that he was unable to spend enough time with daughter Ziana, Charu responded by saying that a parent is not given the privilege of being present, they just have to be around.

In his latest video, Rajeev mentioned that he is considering taking legal action against Charu for defaming him and portraying him and his family in a negative light.

For those who don't know, Charu recently moved to her parents' home in Bikaner from Mumbai, citing financial difficulties in providing their daughter with a respectable standard of living in Mumbai. Rajeev addressed this in his vlog, saying that Charu's frequent use of his name in her videos was "not fair."

He said, “You are enjoying bad comments about me and most of them are paid PR, we all know that. That’s why I was worried that no one misuses the money." He further added, “You gave so many interviews against me and I didn’t say anything, now I won’t stay quiet anymore."

Addressing Charu Asopa's claims that he was not present during her pregnancy, he also said, "She accused me of not being with her during the pregnancy, that’s not the case. I was there with her. I have vlogs to prove it. She was the one running away from me. Don’t say that I was gone for 4 months, that’s not true.”

Towards the end of the vlog, he warned her of possible legal action, saying that although he had hoped to avoid going to court over their disagreements, it now appeared inevitable. He added that if he began to speak out, he wouldn't be able to stop, as both he and his family had endured a great deal. "If I start then I won’t stop because I have been through a lot, and my family has also been through a lot," he added.

Rajeev and Charu tied the knot in a three-day destination wedding in Goa. The wedding ceremony took place on June 16, 2019. they welcomed their daughter Ziana in 2021. However, the couple got divorced after four years of marriage, in 2023.
