Netflix is bringing India’s most iconic film family to the small screen in a way audiences have never seen before. The streaming giant has announced Dining With The Kapoors, a heartfelt documentary celebrating the legacy, food, and cinematic history of the Kapoor family from Prithviraj Kapoor’s pioneering days to the present generation led by Ranbir, Kareena, and Karisma. The much-awaited documentary premieres on November 21, 2025.

The newly released poster, shared on Netflix’s Instagram handle, offers a glimpse into this grand yet intimate saga. It features multiple generations of the family, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, Zahan Kapoor, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Agastya Nanda among the younger generation.

Veteran members like Randhir Kapoor, Babita Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor also appear, tying together a lineage that has shaped Indian cinema for nearly a century.

The post was playfully captioned, “Kapoor Khandaan ka lunch invite aa gaya hai (The Kapoor family’s lunch invite is here)… and you’re invited.” That line perfectly captures the spirit of the documentary, a warm, nostalgic invitation into the family’s dining table conversations, traditions, and bonds.

The film also includes appearances by extended family members like Saif Ali Khan, Bharat Sahni, Manoj Jain, Kunal Kapoor, Shaira Kapoor, and others. For the first time, Netflix dives deep into the Kapoors’ shared history, exploring their memories of growing up together, their love for food, and how cinema became the family’s language of connection.
