Former Indian cricketer and Kapil Sharma Show's special guest Navjot Singh Sidhu will be making a grand return to the hit show once again. Yes, you read that right, but there is a twist: he is not returning to steal Archana Puran Singh's seat but as a guest on one of the episodes of this week's episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Navjot Singh Sidhu will be seen as a guest with his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu and friends Harbhajan Singh and his wife Geeta Basra.
In a promo dropped by Netflix India, one can see Sunil Grover dressed as Sidhu and reading news. Cut to the stage, and we see Sidhu sitting on the seat now famously acquired by Archana Puran Singh. Kapil says Sunil paaji yaar aap har doosre din Sidhu ji ban kar aa jate ho.
To this, Sidhu replies in his unique shayari, "Hat." Oye, Ab motor nahi car chahiye, ab audience saari keh rahi hai ab sardar chahiye. (We need a sardar, a real sardar.) Kapil says Thoko Taali.
And the audience cheers for Sidhu loudly.
Next Archana Puran Singh, who had replaced Sidhu, greets him with a hug and then cheekily says, "Main Hamesha aapko duayein deti hoon, aap sahi samay par yahan se nikal gaye (I always wish you well because you left at the right time.)
Kapil asks Sidhu's wife for how long they have been married; she says 32, but Sidhu interrupts, Jitna Karan (their son) ki umar hai na usme 1 saal aur add kar le, so 36."
Netflix shared a promo of the fun episode on its Instagram handle and wrote, “Savdhaan, Khabardar... Aa rahe hai OG sardars. Dekho @navjotsinghsidhu, @harbhajan3, @navjot1618 aur @geetabasra, on the new episode of #TheGreatIndianKapilShow, iss Funnyvaar, 8 pm, only on Netflix.”

Navjot Singh Sidhu was a part of Kapil Sharma's show since its inception in 2013.
It was in 2019 that Sidhu was ousted from the show following his controversial comments on the Pulwama attack that year.
He had said back then: "It (the terror attack) is a cowardly and dastardly act, and I condemn it firmly. Violence is always condemnable, and those who did it must be punished. For a handful of people, can you blame the entire nation and can you blame an individual?”
The Great Indian Kapil Show airs every Saturday on Netflix India at 8 p.m..
