She added: "Palash is extremely attached to Smriti’s father The two of them are even closer than Smriti is with him. When he fell ill, it was Palaash, before Smriti, who decided that they should not go ahead with the wedding rituals until he gets better,” said Amita Muchhal.

In a move that surprised many, Smriti removed all engagement and pre-wedding posts from her Instagram account. Her teammates, including close friend Jemimah Rodrigues, quietly deleted their videos from the celebrations as well, sparking fresh speculation.

Viral screenshots bring a new twist Tuesday afternoon (25 November):
Tensions rose further when purported screenshots of conversations between Palaash and another woman surfaced online. The images—first shared by an Instagram user named Mary D’Costa and later circulated widely on Reddit—show alleged chats from May 2025 in which he appears to invite the woman for a swim. When she asks about his relationship status, he gives vague answers, while allegedly encouraging her to meet him nonetheless.

Many questions remain unanswered and everyone's emotions are running high because the Instagram account that shared the screenshots has since been deactivated.
