BTS' For You music video reaches 100 million views; band unveils behind-the-scenes after 9 years - watch video

BTS' Japanese single For You, released nine years ago, has recently surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. To celebrate this milestone, BTS has shared a previously unseen behind-the-scenes video of the song's making, giving fans a nostalgic look back at the group's early days.

BTS' Japanese single For You, released nine years ago, has recently crossed the significant milestone of 100 million views on YouTube. This achievement, celebrated by BTS and their fans, marks a momentous occasion for the group. To commemorate this feat, BTS has released an unseen behind-the-scenes video of the making of For You, offering fans a nostalgic glimpse into the early days of the band.

Originally released on June 4, 2015, this milestone comes more than nine years after the video's debut. The achievement highlights the enduring popularity and impact of BTS' music across the globe.

To celebrate For You reaching this milestone, BTS released an unseen behind-the-scenes video on June 30, 2024, through their official Japanese YouTube channel. This exclusive footage takes fans back to BTS' early years, showcasing the dedication and hard work that went into creating For You.

The behind-the-scenes video begins with the BTS members huddling for a group cheer before diving into the dance break of the music video. Fans are treated to lighthearted moments, such as V enjoying a ride on his bicycle and playful interactions between V and j-Hope behind the camera. The video also features the members teasing Jungkook about a letter, adding a touch of warmth and camaraderie to the behind-the-scenes experience.

BTS has firmly established itself as a global K-pop phenomenon, with an immense following worldwide. Currently, all members except Jin are enlisted in the military to complete their mandatory service. Jin, the oldest member, was discharged last month on June 12, 2024.

j-Hope is scheduled to be discharged from the military in October 2024. Jin recently posted about j-Hope’s upcoming discharge, encouraging him to continue working hard.

In other news, Jimin is set to make his solo comeback with his album MUSE on July 19, 2024, at 1 PM KST (9:30 AM IST). The album features the lead track Who, and fans are eagerly anticipating Jimin's return to the music scene.
