In the latest addition of India’s influential stars commending the “Chandu Champion” team, Smriti Mandhana, vice captain of the Indian cricket team, joined the list.

What’s interesting is that Smriti herself is from Sangli, the birthplace of the Paralympic gold medalist. But the athlete wasn’t aware of the sport icon until watching “Chandu Champion.”
