Mohit Suri's latest directed movie, Saiyaara, became one of the biggest hits in the Bollywood industry to be released this year. The film crossed Rs 300 crores in India.
During a recent appearance at the NDTV Yuva Conclave, Mohit Suri talked about his love story and also shared how he got attracted and fell in love with Uditaa Goswami.
Mohit recalled the first meeting with his wife and said, “From Zeher to Saiyara, a moment...the moment I met my wife was a special moment in my life. I saw her on a billboard and told my friend that I was going to marry her. I was an assistant director at the time. I've even composed a few songs on my own movies...Sun Raha Hai Na Tu...Humsafar.”
Mohir Suri and Uditaa Goswami’s relationship
The couple started dating each other during the making of the film Zehar in 2005. The two of them tied the knot in 2013. Uditaa and Mohit welcomed their daughter named Devee, in 2015 and their son named Karrma, in 2018.
Udita was launched in Bollywood by Mohit’s cousin Pooja Bhatt for the movie Paap in 2003, two years later, Mohit directed the actor in her second film Zehar.
Mohit Suri’s projects
On the work front, Mohit’s Saiyaara did well at the box office, a movie which revolves around the love story between a budding musician named Krish Kapoor and a shy writer Vaani, which takes a shocking turn as the movie progresses.
The film was appreciated for the fresh cast and excellent music, and the performance of the two leads. The film also marked the debut of Ahaan Panday, while Aneet was previously seen in Big Girls Don’t Cry and Slaam Venky.
