The film follows the journey of Arunmozhi Varman, also known as Arul (played by Arvind Swamy), who returns to his hometown in Thanjavur after decades of being away. Having sold his family’s ancestral property and severed ties with all relatives except his uncle Sudalamuthu (Rajkiran), Arul is drawn back for his cousin’s wedding in 2018. The core of the film revolves around themes of unconditional love, understanding one’s roots, and the power of memories that transcend time.
