Marathi actor and director Tushar Ghadigaonkar has tragically died by suicide. He reportedly took his life for not getting work. His friend and actor Ankur Wadve shared the tragic news on his social media, leaving everyone in shock.
Ankur, known for his role in Chala Hawa Yeu Dya, took to his Instagram and shared a photo of Tushar. He revealed in the caption that Tushar had died by suicide. He penned in Marathi, “Why, my friend? For what? Work comes and goes! We must find a way, but suicide is not the way!”
Ankur further noted that suicide is not the solution to any situation and continued in the caption, “Granted, the current situation is difficult, but this cannot be the solution. Tushar Ghadigaonkar, you lost - and with you, we all lost.”
Tushar married Siddhi in 2022, surrounded by his close friends and family. He shared a series of photos on his social media. He penned in the caption, “New season begins.”
On the work front, Tushar Ghadigaonkar worked in theatre, television, and films. He was known for his portrayal in Bhimrao Mude's directorial Tumchi Mulgi Kay Karte, which also stars Madhura Velankar-Satam, Harish Dudhade and Chinmay Mandlekara and Ashish Kulkarni.
He had also appeared in a Bollywood film, Malal, and played the role of a friend of the protagonist. Tushar’s other notable works include Clove Mirchi, Man Kasturi Re, Bhaubali, Unad, Zombivli, Hey Man Bawre, and Sangeet Bibat Akhyan.
Besides acting, he has also directed several projects under Ghanta Naad Productions.
