Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde visit Salman Khan at his residence, two days after the gunshot firing

Earlier, the Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde had telephoned Salman Khan on the day of the firing. The two accused identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were brought to Mumbai and produced before court. They have been sent to custody until April 25.

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde met Bollywood star Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan at their residence Galaxy Apartments on Tuesday.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde paid a visit to Bollywood actor Salman Khan at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. Eknath Shinde had telephoned Salman Khan on the day of the firing.

Two bike-borne assailants had fired five rounds at the residence of Salman Khan in the wee hours of Sunday (April 14).

His car was seen entering the Galaxy apartments a few minutes ago.



Earlier, CM Shinde had spoken with the reporters and said, "This is an unfortunate incident. Police are investigating it. The accused will be caught, and stringent action will be taken against them. Those who take the law into their own hands won't be spared."

In the visuals, Shinde is seen with Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan. Salman Khan is seen in his casual look, a black T-shirt with jeans.

Meanwhile, the two accused were nabbed by the Mumbai Crime branch on Monday in Bhuj, Gujarat. The two accused identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were brought to Mumbai and produced before court. They have been sent to custody until April 25.

Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol had taken responsibility for the shooting and said it was a trailer. One of the shooters involved in the firing at Salman Khan’s house is a member of the Rohit Godara gang, which handles operations for Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Earlier today, Lakhmi Gautam, Joint Commissioner of Police (Mumbai Crime) had addressed a press conference in Mumbai to reveal details of their operation in Bhuj.

He also said that the gunmen had done a recce of Salman Khan’s house thrice and that they will reveal more details of the incident as they interrogate the accused.

“Total five rounds were fired by the accused who were sitting on the motorcycle. Later on during the day, Anmol Bishnoi has also written on Facebook account regarding this incident. And his tone is threatening and he has basically written it on the particular incident,” said Lakhmi.

He said that in all 12 teams of the Crime Branch were constituted and they were given different tasks. And it was on the basis of human intelligence and technical intelligence that they came to know that the accused may be somewhere in the Bhuj district in Gujarat.

“Today morning the two accused were brought to Mumbai, arrested and then produced in court. The honourable court has given the PCR up to April 24. These are the basic facts about the FIR. They have been recently arrested and are to be subjected to interrogation and enquiry. We have only the primary information. All the facts that will be revealed as we investigate the case. Primarily they have done recce of the house three times. It may be corrected on further investigation,” he said.

Salman Khan has resumed work and has asked his team to not cancel any of his work commitments.
