The music launch of Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar turned into a full-blown spectacle on Sunday night in Mumbai, with an unexpected reveal that instantly lit up the event. Television star Krystle D’Souza was officially introduced as part of the film’s dance number Shararat, and her surprise performance with Ranveer Singh became the highlight of the evening.
The launch, hosted by Amazon Music in association with Saregama, drew a packed crowd of fans who were invited to witness all the songs of the film performed live. The night began with Madhubanti Bagchi and Jasmine Sandlas taking the stage for Shararat. Sandlas arrived in a traditional Indian look, which set the mood before the real surprise unfolded.
Ranveer Singh, the film’s lead, was present in the audience and quickly turned the energy up several notches. He appeared visibly taken in by the performance and, in typical Ranveer fashion, jumped onto the stage to join the singers. What followed was an impromptu request from Ranveer, asking Madhubanti Bagchi and Jasmine Sandlas to perform Shararat once again—this time with him and Krystle D’Souza.
Krystle’s entry onto the stage confirmed what the film’s team had kept under wraps until now: she features in the dance number Shararat in Dhurandhar. Once the music kicked in, Krystle and Ranveer delivered a lively, coordinated performance that instantly became the talking point of the night. Fans at the venue cheered them on, phones raised high, capturing the duo as they matched steps under bright stage lights.
A clip from the event, shared by journalist Fenil Seta, showed Krystle dancing with Ranveer as the crowd roared and the singers powered through the track. The moment served as the first public look at Krystle’s involvement in the big-ticket action film.
Also spotted at the launch were actress Sara Arjun and singer Shahzad Ali, who performed Ishq Jalakar (Karvaan), another track from the film’s album.
Dhurandhar features a heavyweight ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal. Backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film marks another ambitious chapter in Aditya Dhar’s storytelling. Dhurandhar releases in cinemas on December 5.
