    VERIVERY faces criticism

    Rookie boy group VERIVERY is facing heavy backlash after fans accused them of plagiarizing TXT’s concept for their latest comeback.

    On November 23, VERIVERY released the music video teaser for Red (Beggin’), the title track from their fourth single album Lost and Found. But what should have been an exciting preview quickly drew scrutiny, particularly from TXT fans, who pointed out striking similarities between the teaser’s visuals and TXT’s previous concept photos.

    Screenshots and side-by-side comparisons circulated widely online, with many fans claiming that VERIVERY’s styling, colour palette, and overall mood appeared nearly identical to TXT’s earlier concept imagery.

    As the discussion spread, TXT fans voiced their frustration, not just toward VERIVERY but toward HYBE for allegedly failing to protect TXT’s creative identity from repeated copycat cases.

    “Isn’t this basically a remake? Has TXT become Pinterest inspiration again?” wrote a fan. “The company is so incompetent that other groups are now ripping off their concept,” critiqued another.

    “Why can’t you take action like you did for Beomgyu’s solo? Please do your job,” commented a fan. “I get that TXT’s concepts are great, but how many times is this going to happen?” remarked another.

    As of now, neither agency involved has issued a public statement addressing the accusations, but the controversy continues to spark debate across online communities.
