Even the smallest moments can become viral sensations thanks to BTS's Jungkook, and this time, it all began with a box of biscuits.
The popular Korean snack Kancho, which has been trending online due to its random names printed on each biscuit, was the singer's latest obsession when he went live.
Jungkook made the decision to partake in the festivities, just like everyone else, in the hopes of seeing his name among the confections.
However, much to his disappointment, he couldn’t find it. “Oh, so my name isn’t on the list for the Kancho snack…” he said with a playful sigh during his first live stream.
Not one to give up easily, Jungkook tried again during another broadcast on 30 October, armed with more packs of Kancho. Fans watched eagerly as he opened each one — until he paused at a particular biscuit, laughed awkwardly, and said,
“Ah, this name could lead to controversy, so I’ll skip it.”

That single line was enough to send social media into overdrive. Viewers immediately began speculating about which name he might have seen — with many convinced it could be connected to aespa’s Winter, whose real name is Minjeong.
Given the recent swirl of dating rumours linking the two idols, fans believed Jungkook had recognised the potential fallout and chose to steer clear to avoid adding fuel to the fire.
Others, on the other hand, praised him for managing the situation tactfully and maturely in front of millions of viewers.

Clips from the live stream quickly went viral on sites like X and TikTok, igniting a plethora of memes, theories, and light-hearted discussions.
Some fans even joked that Jungkook’s “Kancho quest” has now become its own K-drama subplot.
Meanwhile, in a completely separate corner of the K-pop world, EXO continues to face internal tension — with reports suggesting that one member is “strongly opposed” to allowing Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin to rejoin upcoming group activities.
