The emotional power of BTS reunions was on full display on Saturday night as Kim Taehyung, better known as V, surprised fans during the final stop of Jin’s RunSeokjin Ep. Tour — and broke down in tears. The concert, held on Day 2 of the sold-out finale, marked V’s first live fan interaction since his return from military service.

V, who completed his 18-month mandatory South Korean military enlistment this June, took to the stage visibly overwhelmed by the sight of cheering fans. As Jin embraced him warmly, V couldn’t hold back his emotions.

When Jin asked why he was crying, V confessed, “I really missed this scenery… Seriously, the seven of us, I think I imagined that moment, I didn't want to imagine it, but I ended up doing that, I imagine us being together, and thinking of this view, all of a sudden, I just felt overwhelmed.”

It wasn’t just V who lit up the stage. BTS member Jimin also joined the duo later on. The trio performed some of BTS’ most iconic hits including So What, IDOL, and the forever-fan-favourite, Spring Day. The sight of the members singing and laughing together set social media ablaze with emotional reactions from ARMYs across the globe.

The synergy continued from Day 1 of the tour's finale, where J-Hope and Jungkook had appeared to perform their solo numbers before joining Jin in a nostalgic medley. The tour, a live spinoff of Jin’s popular YouTube series Run Seok Jin, began in June and wrapped up this weekend.
