Khushi Kapoor, who is well-known for her easy charm and rising stardom in the fashion and movie industries, recently talked about her own sense of style, which is firmly anchored in sentimentality and minimalism.
At a recent event, the young star was asked about her who is her fashion philosophy, to which she candidly replied, “I think fashion is timeless. Main abhi tak mere mummy ke kapde pehentii hu, mere badi behen ke kapde pehenti hu. Toh I think it’s about how you wear clothes and not the clothes itself.”
She believes that fashion is more about individual meaning and expression than it is about quickly changing trends, even if it means raiding her mother's closet or stealing looks from her sister, Janhvi Kapoor.
When asked about her ultimate fashion icon, Khushi didn't hesitate before naming her elder sister. “I think mere badi behen Janhvi, always,” she smiled, acknowledging Janhvi's glamorous yet relatable style. The sisterly bond between the two has always been admired by fans, whether seen on social media, at family events, or now, in this heartfelt nod to Janhvi’s influence.
Naturally, the next question was one fans have long been dreaming of: Could we see both sisters walk the ramp together one day? Khushi playfully responded with a warm smile and hopeful tone, saying, “Hopefully ek din.”
On the work front, Khushi Kapoor was last seen in Nadaaniyan opposite Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan. The duo faced considerable backlash for the film, which failed to resonate with audiences.
Khushi initially made her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar's The Archies on Netflix and marked her silver screen debut earlier this year with Loveyapa, where she starred alongside Junaid Khan.
