In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), contestant Shobhika Shree from the picturesque Andaman and Nicobar Islands took the hot seat after winning the ‘Fastest Finger First’ round. Engaging in a lighthearted conversation with host Amitabh Bachchan, Shobhika shared her background as a professional working in the health and medical services sector. Her dedication to such a noble profession instantly earned her praise from the legendary host.

The first question posed to Shobhika was for Rs 1,000: "Which of these words can refer to dried grass as well as an instrument used to drink liquids from a glass?" The options were Hay, Frock, Spoon, and Straw. Confident in her answer, she chose option D, Straw, which turned out to be correct. With this, Shobhika set the tone for a successful streak of answers as the episode progressed.

As the game continued, Shobhika successfully answered all questions in the initial round, known as the ‘Padav,’ securing her position in the game. She then faced the ‘Super Sawal’ which asked, "Cape Town is one of the capitals of which country?" Without hesitation, she answered South Africa, which was indeed correct, boosting her winnings and impressing the audience.

During a candid moment, Shobhika opened up about a personal challenge—despite being married, she and her husband live apart due to their respective work commitments. She expressed her difficulties in securing a transfer that would allow them to live together. Amitabh Bachchan, known for his sense of humor, lightened the mood by offering a playful suggestion. He humorously advised her to pretend to be unwell to get time off and visit her husband. In a playful moment, Amitabh Bachchan suggested she could pretend to have health issues to get some time off and visit her husband. He humorously recalled his own childhood antics, sharing how he used to fake illness to avoid going to school. "When I was in school, I would trick people into thinking I was sick so I could skip class. There’s a hack—if you hold an onion under your arm, it gives you a fever. I used it all the time," he joked, much to the audience's delight.

Amitabh Bachchan continued the game by posing a question about the National Testing Agency (NTA), the organization responsible for conducting major exams in India. The question asked: "What is the full form of NTA?" After using the audience poll lifeline, Shobhika confidently chose option A, National Testing Agency, which won her Rs 80,000.

As the stakes grew higher, Shobhika remained composed and continued to answer the questions with poise. However, when faced with a question worth Rs 6,40,000, she stumbled. The question was: "Who among these repaired the Qutb Minar, according to the inscription on its surface?" The options were Sikandar Lodi, Khizr Khan, Akbar, and Muhammad bin Tughlaq. Uncertain about the correct answer, Shobhika decided to play it safe and quit, taking home Rs 3,20,000.

Apart from Shobhika's impressive gameplay, the episode was filled with delightful conversations. Amitabh Bachchan treated the audience to some heartwarming stories from his life, particularly reminiscing about his iconic Holi songs. He discussed the ever-popular tracks Rang Barse and Holi Khele Raghuveera, revealing that he had a personal hand in creating these timeless songs. “Holi Khele Raghuvira is part of Rang Barse, and I’ve written those. People really seem to enjoy those songs,” he shared, further deepening the audience’s admiration for his work.

Following Shobhika’s departure, Devang Agarwal from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, took his turn in the hot seat. As he progressed in the game, Devang and Amitabh Bachchan discussed the actor’s iconic roles and his contributions to the Indian film industry. The conversation eventually circled back to Amitabh’s Holi songs, adding a nostalgic charm to the episode.
