On December 21, Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, the director and her co-star from It Ends With Us, accusing him of sexual harassment. In her lawsuit, Lively also alleged that Baldoni attempted to orchestrate a smear campaign against her, leading to significant emotional distress for her and her family.
Lively's complaint described several instances where Baldoni allegedly created a hostile work environment, including inappropriate discussions about his pornography addiction, sharing explicit material, and making comments about her weight. The situation reportedly escalated to the point where an all-hands-on-deck meeting was called, during which Lively requested that Baldoni stop such behavior.
Justin Baldoni’s publicist, Jennifer Abel, has denied Blake Lively’s allegations. In a post shared in a private PR & Marketing Facebook group, Abel addressed a series of leaked text messages allegedly involving herself, Baldoni, and PR crisis manager Melissa Nathan. Lively had claimed these messages were part of a calculated attempt to damage her reputation. However, Abel dismissed the accusations, asserting that no such coordinated campaign was ever carried out.
