Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Riteish Deshmukh are collaborating for a fun-packed entertaining film, Housefull 5. However, the makers have recently sent the fans into a frenzy with the release of the full-length trailer of the upcoming instalment.
The trailer starts with a lavish yacht birthday celebration of Ranjeet’s billionaire character. However, things get messy when he announces that his billion-dollar empire will be transferred to his son, Jolly. Akshay, Abhishek, and Riteish chimed in to claim themselves as the real jolly with their girlfriends, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa and Nargis Fakhri.

However, things took a dramatic turn when Ranjeet’s sudden death left Akshay, Abhishek, and Riteish as the prime suspects. The teaser then shows the trio being drugged and in a bed with each other’s girlfriends. Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt make a dramatic entry as police to investigate the murder.
Nadiadwala has recently reflected on the film and said, “I’ve been thinking about the story of Housefull 5 and having two different climaxes for the last 30 years. I’ve always wanted to make a thriller, and the idea finally came to me 3–4 years ago, right after I finished writing Housefull 4. I wrote the story and screenplay myself, and it’s truly a dream come true."
He added, "What makes this film unique is that different shows will have all together different killers and climax. Imagine a 3 PM show having one ending, and the 6 PM show having another- this is happening across single screens and multiplexes.”
He further noted, “Housefull 5 is a true killer comedy. Writing it gave me sleepless nights, but also a lot of joy. Once the script was ready, bringing Akshay and Tarun Mansukhani on board and others made the journey even more fruitful.”
The fifth instalment in the Housefull franchise is co-written and directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala and Firuzi Khan under the production banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
The film also stars Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir in key roles.
The big-budget film has been filmed on a luxurious cruise from London to France, to Spain and back to the UK.

The comedy thriller is scheduled to hit the theatres on June 6, 2025.
