HBO has officially introduced the young actors who will step into the iconic roles of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter TV series.

Dominic McLaughlin, described as a “screen newcomer,” has been cast as the titular Harry Potter, initially played by Daniel Radcliffe in J.K. Rowling’s adaptation films.

Dominic has already starred in Grow, alongside Nick Frost, who, ironically, will play Hagrid in the new series. He will also appear in the upcoming BBC series Gifted.

She portrays the iconic Hermione Granger. She has the most stage experience among the new trio as she also starred in Matilda: The Musical on London’s West End.
