Singer and songwriter Yasser Desai, along with two others, faced legal trouble after their video of performing a life-threatening stunt went viral and reached the Mumbai police.
The singer was booked on Tuesday for endangering his life after he climbed the edge of the Bandra Worli Sea Link (BWSL).
According to IANS, the police report revealed that a witness saw Yasser and three others at the bridge around 6 am. After Desai performed the stunt, the group fled in a car, and bystanders shared a video of the incident with the Bandra police and on social media.
Sanjay Marathe, senior police inspector of Bandra police station, have claimed that they are now attempting to track them down using the car’s number plate, which was recorded at a nearby toll booth.

Yasser, along with the two others who shot the video, are yet to be arrested. They have been booked under sections 285 (danger or obstruction in a public way), 281 (rash driving), 125 (endangering life or personal safety of others), 3(5) (criminal act committed by several persons with a common intention) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and section 184 (dangerous driving) of the Motor Vehicles Act.
For the unversed, Yaseer Desai made his Bollywood singing debut with the 2016 film Beiimaan Love, in which he sang two songs, Main Adhoora and Mere Peeche Hindustan Hai. His credits also include Makhna from the movie Drive, Dil Ko Karaar Aaya from Sukoon and Jogi and Pallo Latke from Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana.
