Dulquer Salmaan to unveil the first look of his film with Kalyani Priyadarshan on 7th June

Dulquer Salmaan is all set to lift the curtains on his much-anticipated film under his banner Wayfarer Films, with the title and first look dropping tomorrow at 6 PM. The announcement was made via his official Instagram, where a stunning teaser poster featuring a silhouette of a female figure against a blazing celestial background instantly stirred excitement among fans.

Touted as a milestone for Malayalam cinema, the film stars Premalu actor Naslen and the ever-charming Kalyani Priyadarshan in lead roles. There’s already considerable buzz, as this project is reportedly the seventh production under the Wayfarer Films banner and could be the first step toward establishing the Wayfarer Cinematic Universe (WCU). The logo, teased earlier with the caption “They Live Among Us”, has sparked speculation that this could be part of a larger interconnected movie franchise.

Directed by Tharangam fame Dominic Arun and scripted by actor-writer Santhy Balachandran, the film had wrapped up a 94-day shoot by the end of January 2025. Dulquer and fellow star Tovino Thomas are expected to make cameo appearances in the movie, further fanning rumours of a shared cinematic universe.

The crew is stacked with seasoned talent, including Nimish Ravi behind the lens and action choreographer Yannick Ben. Notable actors like Arun Kurian and Chandu Salimkumar also play pivotal roles in this ambitious venture. Interestingly, superstar Mammootty had visited the sets during the shoot, and the photos had gone viral across fan pages, adding to the intrigue.
