Dipika Kakar gets emotional on Celebrity Masterchef, Farah Khan says 'jo tujhe troll karte hai unko...'

Television actress Dipika Kakar will soon appear on Celebrity MasterChef, set to air on Sony TV. A new promo released on January 6, 2025, shows Dipika emotional and in tears, reacting to online trolling about being a 'home cook.'

In the Celebrity MasterChef promo, judge Ranveer Brar tells Dipika Kakar that she's running out of time. Vikas Khanna asks her if she has a backup plan, to which the actress responds that she hopes to finish on time. She then presents a visually appealing Creme Brulee Tart.

While tasting the dish, Brar and Khanna express their approval, with Khanna giving a thumbs-up and commenting, "Katal." Overcome with emotion, the Bigg Boss 12 winner begins to cry, prompting Farah Khan to ask her, "Dipika, ro kyun rahe ho itna? (Dipika, why are you crying so much?)"

Dipika replied, “Mein aaj unhe represent karti ho jinhe ye bolke dabaya jata hain, ‘arrey kitchen mein toh khana hi banani hain’. Haan, hu meiin home cook. (I represent those today who are suppressed with the words, 'Oh, you're just supposed to cook in the kitchen.' Yes, I am a home cook.)

Judge Farah Khan then boosts her morale up by saying, “Jo tujhe troll karte hain na, unhe mil gaya jawab (Those who troll you, they got their answer.)

The show will also feature other contestants such as Tejasswi Prakash, Gaurav Khanna, Rajiv Adatia, Faisal Shaikh (also known as Mr. Faisu), Usha Nadkarni, Kabita Singh, Chandan Prabhakar, Abhijeet Sawant, Nikki Tamboli and Archana Gautam.
