Dhanush is gearing up for Kuberaa release

With each passing day, interest is building up for the pan-India film Kuberaa, featuring Nagarjuna, Dhanush, and Rashmika Mandanna, directed by Shekhar Kammula. This film will be released on June 20, 2025, in the theatres and has already raised great hype among trade circles, especially in the Telugu states.

The film’s Andhra Pradesh theatrical rights are reportedly around Rs 18 crores, and indications are that the total business in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana could go up to a whopping Rs 40 crores. This number is a record for a Dhanush-starrer in that territory, and Nagarjuna’s presence has also opened up new avenues for the film in the entire region.

Nagarjuna still enjoys a lot of fan following, and it is being reported that he is playing a meaty role in Kuberaa. Behind the scenes, fans are already pre-emptively declaring the movie a hit, solely because of his powerful screen presence.

A tremendous buzz is surrounding the film when compared to Dhanush’s pre-release business of his Telugu films Raghuvaran B.Tech and SIR, which turned out to be super hits at the box office.
