Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and actress Dakota Johnson were spotted in Mumbai, India, visiting the iconic Shri Babulnath Temple, putting to rest persistent breakup rumours. The couple, together since 2017, held hands as they stepped out, radiating warmth and intimacy, signaling that their relationship remains strong.
During their visit to the temple, the couple embraced Indian customs with grace. Dakota wore a printed cotton suit and respectfully draped a dupatta over her head, while Chris donned a pastel blue kurta, accessorised with a Rudraksha mala. A particularly endearing moment saw Dakota whisper a prayer into Nandi's ear, a gesture believed to bring blessings.
Later, the duo kept things casual in coordinated outfits. Chris wore black pants, white sneakers, and a graphic baseball cap, while Dakota sported a black tank midi dress paired with sneakers and a sweater tied at her waist. Both were seen smiling and waving to fans during their relaxed outing.

Rumours of a split between the couple have persisted over the years. In early 2024, speculation peaked with claims of a secret breakup and reconciliation, while later reports hinted at a long-standing engagement. Dakota’s representatives repeatedly dismissed these claims, insisting the pair was happily together. Chris addressed the speculation in a Rolling Stone interview, highlighting the importance of maintaining privacy in their romantic lives.
Meanwhile Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour is creating a buzz across India. The band will kick off their tour on January 18 at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai and is set to perform three additional concerts. They will play two more shows in Mumbai on January 19 and January 21 before heading to Ahmedabad for their grand finale at Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25.
