Born to Alka Bhatia, Akshay Kumar’s sister, and her first husband Vaibhav Kapoor, Simar grew up in a family deeply connected to the film industry. The film is based on the real-life story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra recipient who laid down his life during the 1971 Indo-Pak War.

In the film, Simar stars alongside Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, and legendary actor Dharmendra, with Jaideep Ahlawat also playing a key role.

The film is set to release later this year and has already created immense buzz for its cast and powerful subject matter.
