About Baazigar
Loosely based on the 1991 film, A Kiss Before Dying, which was adapted from Ira Levin’s 1953 novel, Baazigar revolves around a cold-blooded killer with a vendetta who charms a businessman's elder daughter and then kills her in a way that would make it seem like a case of suicide. He then plots to destroy the rest of the family.
With a global box office total of Rs 150 million, Baazigar became the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film of the year and successfully won over the audiences. The crime thriller Baazigar, which was directed by Abbas-Mustan, is still hailed as a cult favourite today.
