Ranveer Singh praises Sreeleela’s talent and work ethic ahead of her Hindi debut

Ranveer Singh heaped praise on Sreeleela

Ranveer Singh, Bobby Deol, Sreeleela, and Atlee have recently collaborated to launch an advertisement. During the event, Ranveer showered praise on Sreeleela.

He said that his friends and cousins were excited that he was working with Sreeleela and that his phone "blew up" when the news of his ad collaboration with her broke.

Ranveer Singh said during the event, “I think it came out in the news that Sreeleela and I would be working on something, and suddenly from Four Bungalows to Bangalore, my phone started blowing up. My friends and cousins were all like, ‘Bro, you’re working with Sreeleela?’" He further added that a friend of his couldn’t stop gushing over her after watching her in the Kissik song in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule.

The actor added, “A friend of mine came out of Pushpa and said, ‘Man, the best thing was that girl in the Kissik song!’ He told me, ‘If you ever meet her, make me meet her!’ And this is someone who doesn’t even watch too many movies! My cousin from Bangalore said the same thing- ‘Bro, just get me a picture with Sreeleela!’”

Ranveer also shared his excitement about the actress's impending romantic musical with Kartik Aaryan, which will be her Hindi debut, during the event. He continued by praising her work ethic and stating that he thinks she will become one of the biggest stars in the years to come.

Ranveer noted, “I’m very excited to see her Hindi debut. She is working with one of the finest filmmakers in our industry, Mr. Anurag Basu, and I’m really looking forward to that movie. She’s extremely beautiful and talented — everyone knows that — but what I can tell you is that she has an absolutely stellar, unquestionable work ethic. That’s why I believe she’s going to be one of the biggest stars in the years to come.”

Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela’s upcoming movie, which is directed by Anurag Basu, was formally revealed in February of this year, along with a video that included an early look at the actors.

Fans got a preview of the new couple's chemistry from the teaser, which included a few snippets of Sreeleela and Kartik's romantic moments. The movie is called Tu Meri Zindagi Hai, and is speculated to release in theatres in May 2026.
