When it comes to festive elegance, no one does it quite like Manish Malhotra.
The renowned designer transformed his Mumbai residence into the most glitzy location of the season when he reopened his doors for his yearly Diwali celebration.
Some of India's biggest stars, including Rekha, Shah Rukh Khan, Nita Ambani, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, came together for a night of light, warmth, and laughter.
Manish posted pictures from the glamorous evening to Instagram, along with a touching message that perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the event.
“Hosting for Diwali always feels special…. Friends and loved ones, laughter and light…. there’s nothing I love more…. Hosting at my humble home, I take joy in filling it with music, florals, and warmth…. Ever since I can remember, I have loved creating spaces where people feel welcomed, cherished, and at home…. This Diwali, 2025, every detail, from the decor to the smallest touches, was chosen to celebrate joy, togetherness, and the spirit of the festival…. bringing all the people I care about together under one roof.” He wrote.'
Every frame brought his words to life. The designer's exquisite sense of harmony between tradition and modernity was evident in the soft golden hues that filled his home, which was embellished with marigolds, diyas, and abundant floral arrangements.
The mix of Bollywood royalty, business titans, and close friends enjoying the festive atmosphere made for an incredible guest list.
Ever the picture of elegance, Rekha dazzled in a yellow silk saree with a red border and bold jewellery. There was an air of subtle sophistication when Nita Ambani arrived with Radhika and Shloka Ambani. Kareena Kapoor, Kajol, Madhuri Dixit, and Hema Malini glowed the evening in traditional ethnic attire, while Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri, and Suhana Khan contributed star power and charm.
Younger celebrities brought new life to the evening; Nysa Devgn, Sara Ali Khan, Khushi Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon all shone in their modern festive attire.
Suhana Khan in particular turned heads in a stunning violet saree, describing her look as “a little vintage, a little recycled,” in keeping with Manish’s sustainable design sensibility.
Karan Johar made a dapper appearance in a black mirror-work kurta, sharing a warm moment with Madhuri Dixit, who looked resplendent in blue and gold.
Sidharth Malhotra impressed in an ivory and gold kurta set, while Bobby Deol attended with wife Tanya, along with Fatima Sana Shaikh, Shilpa Shetty, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Vijay Varma.
