Anupam Kher’s directorial film Tanvi The Great is continuing to make a strong impression on the festival circuit. The movie has now been honored with the prestigious FIPRESCI India Award for Best Feature Film at the Jagran Film Festival, marking an important achievement for the entire team.
Sharing the news on social media, Anupam Kher expressed his happiness and gratitude. He wrote, “Proud to share that our film #TanviTheGreat has won the prestigious #FIPRESCIIndiaAward for the BEST FEATURE FILM at the Jagran Film Festival.
#Fipresci is a global association of professional film critics and journalists that promotes film culture and is known for awarding its own film prize at international festivals.”

On behalf of the team, Shubhangi Dutt, the film's lead actress and recipient of accolades for her ground-breaking performance, accepted the award.
The inspirational tale of Tanvi Raina, a young autistic woman, is told in Tanvi The Great. She aspires to join the Indian Army in order to carry out her late father's wish, which was to raise the flag of her country at the Siachen Glacier.
Alongside its talented cast, which includes Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Arvind Swamy, Nassar, Iain Glen, and Karan Tacker, the film features some of the world’s most acclaimed technicians.
The music is composed by Oscar-winner MM Keeravaani, sound design is handled by another Oscar-winner, Resul Pookutty, and cinematography is done by Japanese technician Keiko Nakahara.
