Abu Malik has stirred up another storm in Bollywood circles with his blunt remarks about Udit Narayan. In a new interview with Vickey Lalwani, he didn’t mince words as he reacted to Udit Narayan’s controversial on-stage kiss. Abu also criticised Kumar Sanu’s alleged arrogance.

Earlier this year, Udit Narayan found himself at the center of a social media controversy after a viral video showed him kissing a female fan during a live concert. The singer was performing his iconic Mohra track Tip Tip Barsa Paani. He then leaned over the stage to greet a woman taking a selfie, only for the fan to peck him on the cheek. To everyone’s shock, Udit appeared to return the gesture kissing on her lips.

Reacting to the incident, Abu Malik expressed disbelief and disappointment. “It’s starvation maybe, starvation of human company. God knows what it is. I would feel shocked to think you just catch somebody and kiss them. This is odd yaar. It’s desperation. One should not be so desperate. You’ve got everything. You can make arrangements for everything in the world. You don’t need to be so desperate in life,” he said.

While Abu Malik admitted that Udit is “generally a kind and humble person,” he also pointed out that fame can make artists lose perspective. “His head is in the clouds. He meets you warmly. He’s okay,” said Abu.
