Lisa, the global sensation from the popular K-pop group Blackpink, made a remarkable Oscar debut at the 97th Academy Awards. What truly caught everyone’s attention, however, was her choice of attire for her electrifying musical tribute to James Bond, an exquisite ensemble designed by Indian couturier Rahul Mishra.
For her performance, the 27-year-old singer and actor donned a stunning black ensemble from Rahul Mishra’s The Pale Blue Dot collection, which debuted at Paris Haute Couture Week in January.
On Monday, Mishra took to Instagram to share pictures of Lisa’s captivating performance at the prestigious ceremony, which took place on Sunday night at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Marking a historic moment, Lisa became the first K-pop idol to take center stage at the Oscars, delivering a powerful performance of Live and Let Die, the iconic theme song from the 1973 James Bond film. Originally performed by Paul McCartney and British rock band Wings, the song’s grand orchestration and Lisa’s mesmerizing presence added a unique flair to the prestigious ceremony.
Before dazzling the audience on stage, Lisa made a statement on the Oscars red carpet with a bold and unconventional fashion choice. Instead of the usual gowns, she opted for a sharply tailored tuxedo dress by designer Markgong. The sleek black ensemble, featuring a structured long coat layered over a matching dress shirt, exuded effortless sophistication with a hint of James Bond-inspired charm.
Adding a unique twist, Lisa accessorized with a striking red floral brooch—an elegant nod to Sean Connery’s iconic Bond style. Her wavy red locks, styled with a fringe, perfectly complemented her White Lotus character’s signature look, making her one of the most talked-about stars of the night.
