Athiya Shetty, daughter Evaarah miss dad KL Rahul on Father's Day: "Happy first Father's Day to the best"

Today also marks a special day for the KL Rahul as this is his first Father's Day as a father after welcoming their daughter.

Actress Athiya Shetty, who recently welcomed baby girl Evaarah with hubby and cricketer KL Rahul, shared a post on Father's Day as they mother and daughter duo seem to be missing daddy Rahul on the special day.

Today also marks a special day for the KL Rahul as this is his first Father's Day as a father after welcoming their daughter. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Athiya re-shared one of her posts featuring KL Rahul with baby Evaarah in his arms, and wrote, "Happy first Father's Day to the best. We miss you @klrahul."

Athiya also wishes her father and actor Suniel Shetty and father-in-law Dr K. N. Lokesh on the occasion of Father's Day on June 15.

She shared a throwback picture with her father from her wedding festivities in which he dearly plants a kiss on her cheek. She wrote, "Happy Father's Day to my greatest strength. Love you @suniel.shetty."

On March 24, 2025, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul welcomed their daughter, Evaarah Vipula Rahul. In Hindi, the name "Evaarah" means "gift of God." KL Rahul celebrated his 33rd birthday on April 18, 2025, and revealed their daughter's name in public to commemorate his first birthday as a father.

Athiya later explained that the baby’s full name is Evaarah V.R, with “V” standing for Vipula, as a tribute to Athiya’s grandmother, and “R” representing Rahul. The couple, who got married in an intimate ceremony on January 23, 2023, were surrounded by close family and friends on their special day.
