However, in recent developments, the film's release date has been postponed, leading to a new official release date of December 6, 2024. This announcement was made by the lead actor Allu Arjun himself, ending weeks of speculation and rumors about the film's delay.

The shift in release date has created quite a stir among fans and has also had a ripple effect on other film releases. Pushpa 2: The Rule was originally set to clash with multiple high-profile releases on August 15. These included Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, Nikkhil Advani's action thriller Vedaa, Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein, and Puri Jagannadh's sci-fi action film Double iSmart. However, following the announcement of the new release date, Jio Studios, which had initially scheduled Singham Again for an August release, moved its release to Diwali.
