After teasing fans with behind-the-scenes glimpses, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh’s much-awaited song Chal Kudiye from the film Jigra has finally been released. The makers shared the video on social media, and fans are loving it.

The song marks a powerful reunion of the duo, eight years after their successful collaboration on the hit track Ikk Kudi in Udta Punjab. With Jigra being one of the most anticipated films of 2024, this track has only added to the excitement.

Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to announce the release of the song, sharing a video celebrating women’s strength. She captioned it, “#ChalKudiye OUT NOW! #Jigra in cinemas, 11th October.” Fans were quick to praise the song, with one commenting, “Alia ne Diljit ke sath milkar Dil Jeet liya,” while another said, “It’s a treat to be able to hear both of you sing together.” One fan wrote in awe, "Always said this, saying it again, Alia your voice is beautiful. Please keep singing in promotions, future movies and everywhere you go!"

Chal Kudiye is an inspiring anthem that highlights the resilience and hope of women, encouraging them to rise above challenges. In the video, Diljit stuns in an all-white outfit, while Alia dons a T-shirt with the word ‘Ghar.’ The song, written by Harmanjeet Singh and composed by Manpreet Singh, is available on the Saregama YouTube channel and major audio platforms.

Recently, the teaser for Jigra also garnered praise for Alia’s performance. The teaser opens with Alia’s character talking about her brother and facing numerous challenges to protect him. The action-packed scenes showcase her bravery as she takes on goons. Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra features Alia Bhatt in the lead alongside Vedang Raina as her brother. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, and Shaheen Bhatt, Jigra is set to release on October 11, 2024.
