Akshay Kumar sells his luxurious two Mumbai Borivali East flats for Rs. 6.6 Crore

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has sold two of his apartments in Oberoi Sky City, Borivali East, Mumbai, for a total of Rs. 6.6 crore. The property transactions were officially registered in March 2025, as per documents reviewed by Square Yards on the IGR Maharashtra website.

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has sold two of his apartments in Oberoi Sky City, Borivali East, Mumbai, for a total price of Rs. 6.6 crore. These property transactions were officially registered in March 2025, according to documents reviewed by Square Yards on the website of the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) Maharashtra.

Oberoi Sky City is a well-known residential project spread across 25 acres. It offers ready-to-move-in homes such as 3BHK, 3BHK with a studio, and duplex apartments. The project is developed by Oberoi Realty and is located in Borivali, a green and well-connected area in Mumbai. The location is close to attractions like Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Water Kingdom, Kanheri Caves, and is known for its good connectivity to Kandivali East, Dahisar East, and Borivali West.

Akshay Kumar had purchased both apartments in 2017. In the first transaction, he sold a 3BHK apartment with a carpet area of 100.34 sq. m (1,080 sq. ft) for Rs. 5.35 crore. He originally bought it for Rs. 2.82 crore, which means he earned an 89% profit on the sale. The sale incurred a stamp duty of Rs. 32.1 lakh and a registration fee of Rs. 30,000.

In the second transaction, he sold a smaller adjoining apartment measuring 23.45 sq. m (252 sq. ft) for Rs. 1.25 crore. This apartment was earlier purchased in 2017 for Rs. 67.19 lakh. He earned an 86% profit from this sale. The buyer paid a stamp duty of Rs. 7.5 lakh and a registration fee of Rs. 30,000.
